Happening on Sunday, June 15, 2025, this iconic event is all about celebrating dads with a fun and energetic morning of running, walking, and family bonding.

This is More Than Just a Race—It’s a Tradition

This isn’t your average 5K. The Fresno Father’s Day Run is the longest-running Father’s Day race around, and it’s easy to see why it’s stood the test of time. With an early 7:00 AM start time, the event kicks off before the heat sets in, making for a perfect morning to hit the trails of Woodward Park. Participants can choose between a challenging 10K or a casual 2-mile run/walk, depending on how much energy you and your pops want to bring to the course.

Family Fun for All Ages

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a meaningful way to spend the morning with your dad, this race is designed to be inclusive and fun. Kids 9 and under get special pricing, so it’s easy to turn this into a full-on family event!

There’s even a Father/Son and Father/Daughter team competition, where families can race together and vie for awards in both the 10K and 2-mile events. It’s a great way to bond while creating a memory that will last long after the medals are handed out.
